Don’t take my comments too bad, I know how hard it is to contribute something and then keep it up. and indeed sometimes it ends up being used in places you did not expect. I think starting with a python-slim base image instead of ubuntu 16.04 and then using a multi-stage build should really trim it down. But yes, ideally we should just pip install the eh bindings.
